Gents carpet bowling

The club meets in the Jubilee Hall on Thursday mornings from the first Thursday in September until the second Thursday in May. Hours of play are 10 am to 12 noon. Men aged 16 and over warmly welcome.

Each day starts with an aggregate rink game (teams of 3 or 4 bowlers play each other with the number of shots scored accumulated over the season.) The highest scoring rink at the end of the season wins a prize.

There are competitions for 2 bowl and 4 bowl singles and 2 and 4 bowl pairs.

A round robin competition is held with the player who has the highest points becomes the Club Champion.

When no competitions are taking place bounce games are played.

Tea/coffee and biscuits are served during the morning. The new session begins on 1st September. New members warmly welcomed, bring flat soled shoes.
